WXLO presents the 10th Anniversary of its legendary ‘ACOUSTIC XMAS’, featuring a special acoustic performance from DAUGHTRY with special guests Alisan Porter, and the RUA. XLO’S Acoustc XMAS shows have become a holiday tradition, and usually sell out in advance. Past shows have featured headline performances from Train, The Goo Goo Dolls, Adam Lambert, Barenaked Ladies, Gavin DeGraw, The Fray and many more. Grammy nominated and multi-platinum selling band DAUGHTRY will perform a special acoustic headline set as the headliner of XLO’s 10th Annual ACOUSTIC XMAS. Daughtry have released five studio albums, scored four No. 1 hits and garnered 4
GRAMMY nominations. Additionally, the band has sold over 8 million albums and 16 million singles, as well as selling out concerts around the globe. At radio, the band has also earned four No. 1 singles, including the mulit-format hit No. 1 song “It’s Not Over.” Daughtry's self-titled album was the fastest-selling rock debut in Soundscan history, and its follow up, Leave This Town, marked the quintet's second consecutive No. 1 album.

XLO’s Acoustic Xmas is a homecoming of sorts for American singer, actress and dancer ALISAN PORTER. As a child who was born in Worcester, MA, Porter made acting appearances in Parenthood, Stella and I Love You to Death. Her breakout role came in 1991, when she played the lead in the film Curly Sue opposite Jim Belushi.
As an adult, Porter is perhaps best known as the winner of TV’s The Voice in 2016, where she dazzled the fans and judges alike as part of Team Christina (Aguilera). She has released two studio albums and has performed in numerous roles for film, television and stage. While she was born in Worcester, MA, her performance on December 19th at XLO’s Acoustic Xmas will mark her first live musical performance in the city where she was born.
The RUA
The RUA
THE RUA are a family pop rock band from Windsor, England. The band consists of sisters, Roseanna (Lead Vocals, guitar), Alanna (Piano, backing vocals) and brother, Jonathan Brown (violin, vocals, guitar). They released their debut single "Fight For Whats Right' in 2015, and in 2018 released their latest hit single “All I Ever Wanted”. Billboard Magazine named the band one of 'Tomorrow's Hits', also calling the band's 'sound' a mix between Taylor Swift, The Cranberries and The Corrs. The band will be making their 3rd appearance at XLO’s Acoustic Xmas, back by popular demand.
No strangers to the stage and screen, All three siblings have also appeared in Film and TV, including the Harry Potter film series. Alanna was in Gryffindor and appeared in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Roseanna in Slytherin appeared in, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Jonathan was in Hufflepuff and appeared in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Saying "it was one of the best experiences we have ever had... it was like being part of a big family". They have also been in films separately. Roseanna appeared in, Thor: The Dark World, Maleficent and Snow White and the Huntsman. Alanna in The Crown (TV series) and Allied (film) and Jonathan in Dark shadows(film).
